Grillin' In The Grove BBQ Cook-Off & Mother's Day Pop Up Shop

Get excited for the “Grillin’ In The Grove” Annual BBQ Cook Off.  Admission is free to the public, however tasting tickets will be available for $10.00 at the venue. 

This event will open to the public at 10:00 a.m. & will feature cook teams from all over the city. Prizes will be awarded for best ribs, chicken and sauce.

Sign up to be a competitor OR vendor at this event. Non-refundable cook team and vendor registration fees are only $25.00. Proceeds benefit the youth department & scholarship fund of Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Irondale, Alabama.

$25.00 registration payments can be made via Cash App to Rhonda Heard of Mt. Hebron at $Rookie4  . Please put the name of your cook team or business in the description at the time of payment.

Important Cook Team Notes: 

Cook teams may start at 8:00 a.m. 

*Rib turn in: 3:00 p.m.

*Chicken turn in: 3:30

*Sauce turn in: 4:00 p.m. 

Awards ceremony 4:30 p.m. or immediately after judging the final category.

Important Vendor Notes: 

Vendor set up is from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. 

Vendors and cook teams must provide their own tents, tables and chairs. 

*Exclusive judges panel selected by organizers.
