Guided Night Hike

In celebration of Night Festival, join us for a night hike geared towards learning about our nocturnal world. We will meet at the Nature Center then head out to Hawk’s View Overlook. After sunset, we will discover the mysteries of bio-luminescence, night vision, and what wildlife emerges at dark.

This hike will be 3.2 miles roundtrip with varied terrain and moderate inclines. Adults and kids ages 12 and up welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight (red spectrum lights when possible). Though Ruffner loves having leashed dogs on the trails, please leave your furry friends at home for our Guided Hikes.
