Holiday Market at Sloss Furnaces with vendors, silent auction, Santa, holiday spirit, and a holiday iron pouring by the Sloss Furnaces Metal Artists!
Fellowship House Junior Board is hosting a Holiday Market to benefit Fellowship House, Inc. A nonprofit United Way agency serving those with mental health and substance use disorders. The market will be full of vendors, a silent auction, a resale section, Santa, and Sloss Furnace Metal Artists doing a Holiday Iron Pour! The event is free to the public! Beginning at noon, we will be selling scratch blocks and bowl molds for you to design – our resident artists will help explain the process and provide all the tools you need! Scratch blocks are $15 each and are available to take home the same day; bowls require a little more TLC and will be ready to be picked up next Wednesday in our Visitor Center.
We will also have holiday-themed cast iron art for sale – like our famous nativity sets and a *new* iron gingerbread house designed by resident artist, Alexandra Weaver.
Last call for completed scratch blocks and bowl molds is 3 p.m.
