Human Trafficking Awareness and Training for Educators

October 14, The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (BCRI) and The Wellhouse will present a human trafficking awareness and training workshop for educators on Monday, October 19 @ 8:30 am-11:30 am at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church on 1530 6th Avenue North. Educators will learn how to identify youth in their schools who may be victims of human trafficking as well as what resources are available. Carolyn Potter, Executive Director of The Wellhouse will be the keynote speaker. STPID credits are available. For more information, call Sam Pugh, BCRI Outreach Coordinator, at 205-328-9696 x 246.
