King of the Grill, Growing Kings’ inaugural barbecue grilling competition, is a fundraising event sure to satisfy everyone’s appetite for learning more about the organization’s work and to sample Birmingham’s finest BBQ cuisines.
Join us on Saturday, August 18, 2018 on 55th Place South in the Woodlawn Historic District for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and for samplings of the city’s best barbecue dishes!
From 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, enjoy samples of Birmingham’s best BBQ, live entertainment, a fun kids zoned and explore the Journey of a King program through an interactive and engaging experience.
Tickets for the event will go on sale starting June 18, 2018 at an early bird rate.
