As we move through the season of Lent, looking with anticipation to the death and resurrection of Jesus, we hope you will join us for our series of rich preaching as we continue this beloved, century-old tradition. Services will be held Monday through Friday from 12:05 to 12:30 p.m. in the Nave, beginning Ash Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

ADMISSION INFO
Lunch served daily (except Good Friday) 12:05-1:00pm. Please join us for a delicious lunch at a reasonable price, hand prepared by Advent members. A hearty entree salad of the day will be offered Monday – Thursday, with barbecue on Friday, and of course Advent’s signature pimento cheese, chicken salad, bing cherry salad, classic tomato aspic, and specially made desserts will be available. Come for great preaching and stay for lunch! All proceeds benefit Maranathan Academy for critically at-risk youth in Birmingham.
A shuttle bus will travel to the Advent on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from the parking lot of First Baptist Church of Birmingham throughout Lent. The bus will leave First Baptist (located at 2209 Lakeshore Drive, 35209) at 11:30 a.m. and return no later than 1:30 p.m.
A nursery for children ages 6 weeks – 4K will be provided on Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Registration is not necessary.
