Magic City Storytellers

Two singer/songwriters. Two poets. Two writers. All at the Avon Theater with an amazing dessert intermission. Featured this year will be the beloved Sean of the South Sean Dietrich, young adult novelist Randi Pink, poet (with a grant to kayak down the Cahaba River and respond in poetry) Halley Cotton, spoken word poet Kerry B, hip hop musicians Shaheed and DJ Supreme and singer / songwriter Drew Kearney. Come at 6 pm to enjoy beer and wine and desserts. Performance begins at 7 pm and we will have a dessert intermission. Seating limited to 250. Get your tickets early as we’ve sold out each year.

Sponsors include Alabama Public Television as part of their preview of the Southern Storytellers Series from PBS. Church Street Coffee and Books will be providing coffee and break-up cookies and Sachai will be providing chais and teas.
