Medicare open enrollment runs Oct. 15- Dec. 7. At this event, you can enroll for Medicare, or review your current coverage options to choose the plan that best fits your individual needs.

United Way’s Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) is holding seven events throughout Jefferson County for Medicare open enrollment. Enrollment for 2018 coverage begins 10/15 and runs through 12/7. Alabama’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides free, unbiased counseling year-round, facilitated through UWAAA.
