The Beach Shaggers of Birmingham is a non-profit social shag club. Our club promotes the Shag Dance and the bringing together people of like minds and interest with the goal to preserve the Carolina Shag Dance and shag music. Our shag club was started in 1992 and is a member of theAssociation of Carolina Shag Clubs,an organization of over 100+ shag clubs stretching from Tampa to Boston, but mainly in the Carolina’s.
