NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field National Championship

The 2022 Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the Birmingham CrossPlex.  The event format will feature both individual and team championships held over two days of competition. Day one starts with the men’s heptathlon, women’s pentathlon, several field events, semifinal races and finals of the 5000 meters and Distance Medley Relays. Day two opens with the completion of the men’s heptathlon. Championships are up for grab as finals in the remaining running and field events take place throughout the afternoon and evening. The men’s team champion will be crowned following the conclusion of the men’s 4×400 relay at approximately 5:30 p.m. CT and the women’s team champion will be crowned following the conclusion of the women’s 4×400 relay at approximately 8:30 p.m. CT.
