Let’s explore the ins and outs of Postpartum Depression and Anxiety (PPDA) together. Living with PPDA can certainly be challenging, but there are ways to deal with it and heal through it.

Anjanette Burkett Robinson is a native of Birmingham, AL. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a National Certified Counselor and has over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, other special challenges, and postpartum depression and anxiety disorder. She is also a trained birth doula.

About ICAN: ICAN of Birmingham, Alabama is a chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network, Inc. (ICAN), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC). We hold monthly meetings that are free and open to the public.
