Restorative Justice Training

This training series will be focused on using restorative justice with young people, as well as teaching them to use restorative justice as a form of conflict resolution funding and their team members.

This training will be facilitated by Deputy Director of the Office of Social Justice &
Racial Equity, Jasmyn Elise Story. They are an international restorative justice
facilitator & trainer, specializing in K-12 education, Higher Education, Incidents

The Mayor’s Office City of Birminigham Office of Peace & Policy and the Office of Social Justice & Racial Equity would like to invite you to a series of Restorative Justice trainings for those working or interested in working with youth.

  • August 15th, 2019- Introduction to Restorative Justice
  • August 22nd, 2019- Need Based Approach to De-escalation
  • August 29, 2019- Teaching Restorative Skills to Youth
