Shelter Fundamentals, train to become a disaster shelter worker
One of the five key functions within American Red Cross Disaster Cycle Service is Sheltering. A recent example is the Louisiana Floods, the first and highest request needed was for Shelter Volunteers. During the next week, we are offering a Shelter Fundamentals Class in each Red Cross Chapter to cross-train volunteers.
