Silent Sky is the true story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt, who navigates a world of bold scientific discovery and harsh limitations. Henrietta Leavitt and her female peers pioneered change in the way we understand the heavens, Earth, and human equality.
Seeking a Standard Candle: Dr. Duane Pontius, T. Morris Hackney Professor of Physics, will share a talk on the play’s central character, Henrietta Leavitt.
