Stephen W. Evans was born and raised in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania where he received a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of the Arts in 2010. In 2017, Stephen received his MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife, Lauren Frances Evans, and their three-year-old daughter, Agnes.
