Sylvia by A. R. Gurney

It’s date night at South City Theatre! We are reviving an audience favorite, “Sylvia,” for 6 performances August 10-18, 2018. SCT performed a one hour cutting of this play in 2012 that won the Best in Show at the festival state level then represented Alabama at the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC). Ashley Richardson, playing the title role, won a “Best Actress” award at the state level and a coveted “outstanding acting achievement award” at SETC. SCT is delighted to have Ashley back onstage in this hilarious role for the full version of the production under the direction of JJ Marrs.

This production includes adult language so is rated PG 16. It may not be suitable for some audiences.
