Taste of the Magic City: Italian Wine Dinner

M-POWER Ministries will host an Italian Wine Dinner at Silvertron Café on Wednesday, Oct. 21 starting at 6 p.m. This four-course meal, prepared by Owner and Chef Marco Morosini, will include a beef en croute appetizer, carbonara pasta, fish and chips, and eggless custard served with homemade caramel, all served with selected Italian wines. Guests planning to attend are encouraged to buy tickets in advance as seating is limited. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online.

This event, presented by ProAssurance, invites Birmingham residents to enjoy a taste of the Magic City while giving back to the community and supporting the efforts of M-POWER Ministries, a nonprofit located in Avondale helping to break the cycle of poverty by providing education and health services to Jefferson County residents. The Taste of the Magic City is a four day event that will take place Monday, Oct. 19 through Thursday, Oct. 22. The four events include: Restaurant Give-Back Day, a Farm to Table Experience at Little Savannah, an Italian Wine Dinner at Silvertron Café and finally, Taste Live!, where guests can sample culinary creations from some of Birmingham’s best restaurants.
