Tech & Technique: Lighting Basics

Learn the basics of lighting with veteran filmmaker Randal Crow! No lighting experience or equipment is needed to participate in this class. Participation is $30.

Some of the topics covered:
QUALITY of light and setting the mood.
Lighting instruments, modifiers and shapers.
Light placement and ratios.
Using what is there – “practicals”.
The color of light and mixed sources.
Lighting on a budget.

Workshop will take place at the Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema in our classroom space.
