Tell Me a Story Picture Book Contest

(K-5 grade) Have someone you know (a parent, grandparent, mentor, etc.) tell you a story about their life and create an original picture book based on that story. The book must include a title, cover art, story, and illustrations. Submit the entry to the children’s desk October 1-22 on 8 ½ by 11 paper in portrait alignment. Entries can be no more than 32 pages and no less than 20 pages. Only one entry per child. Winners will get a bound copy of their book added to the circulating picture book collection.
