Presented by The Birmingham African American Genealogy Group at Birmingham Public Library Central Branch - Lin Henley Research Library, Birmingham AL

Aug 11 2019
The Birmingham African American Genealogy Group Monthly Meeting for August

BAAGG is dedicated to the promotion and teaching of genealogical research and gathering of family history

All are invited to the August meeting to learn how to access SLAVEHOLDER RECORDS. Ms Frazine Taylor will lead the discussion concerning important African American documentation to be found among the records of white slave owners of the 1800’s and earlier.

The quality of information will vary but by digging deeper into the records, may reveal important family ties long thought impossible to establish.  Come join us and learn about these valuable materials.
