ESSENTIALS OF GENEALOGY – Every January we begin our year long journey with Genealogy basics and Essentials of African American research.  Come join us for how to get started with gathering your families’ genealogy and history.  John Lanier is the instructor.

Mary Jones-Fitts will also guide us through the documents and records held by Alabama’s research libraries which can be useful in LOCATING THE FIRST BLACK FAMILIES IN ALABAMA.
