The Pointe Ball

Proceeds from Pointe Ball, the organization’s largest special event fundraiser, make extensive education and scholarship programs possible. The 2019 Pointe Ball Honorary Chair is James W. Gewin, Corporate Chair is Tom Warburton and Gala Chairs are Lauren DeMoss and Grace Kipp. The 2019 presenting sponsor is Bradley.

The theme for this year is The Sleeping Beauty, beloved classical ballet to be performed by the Alabama Ballet (and accompanied by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra) March 8-10, 2019, at the BJCC Concert Hall.  A selection from The Sleeping Beauty will be performed the evening of the Pointe Ball.

The event begins with an intimate performance by Alabama Ballet’s professional company members in the Ball Room of The Club. Following the performance, guests along with Artistic Director, Tracey Alvey, and members from the company will enjoy a gourmet dinner with the amazing night views of Birmingham. After dinner, guests will enjoy dessert and dancing with music provided by Celebrity All Star Band.
