THE BIRMINGHAM AFRICAN AMERICAN GENEALOGY GROUP, INC. (BAAGG) is an organization dedicated to preserving and documenting African American family history. Group membership is open to anyone interested in researching and studying family history.

John Lanier will speak on the topic of INTRODUCTION TO AFRICAN AMERICAN GENEALOGY.  He will review various books that are helpful in getting a person started on researching and collecting family history and documents.

Every January, BAAGG presents valuable information for people wanting to do personal family research and genealogy, but need guidance and helpful information to get started.
