West African Drumming Class

This class is an introductory, but challenging experience for adults who desire to experience the joy of learning west African rhythms in a supportive, nonjudgmental atmosphere. Beginners are welcomed, but the class is taught to intermediate to advanced students who already understand the basic terminology and technique of djembe music.

Beginners are fine as long as you are OK with a challenge. This music is NOT easy, but everyone is welcome to participate at their own level–this is the beauty of this music.
