Western's Fall Wine & Food Festival benefitting Emmet O'Neal Library

Mark your calendar for Western’s Wine & Food Festival benefitting Emmet O’Neal Library on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm!  For more information, call the Library at 205-445-1101. Western has partnered with us for this event for many years now and the Library uses the proceeds to host spectacular events. In the past, we’ve brought in bestselling authors like Doris Kearns Goodwin, Khaled Hosseini, John Berendt, Alexander McCall-Smith, Mary Kay Andrews, Dean King and Carl Hiaasen.  Western is proud to donate all event proceeds to help fund programs at the Emmet O’neal Library.  The library staff assists with Western Supermarket’s employees and vendors with the planning, ticket sales & production of this benefit.  

600+ Wines, Wonderful, Local Food, & Great Wine Staff Western’s wine vendors and suppliers will be pouring over 600 wines with every variety and price range represented.  Western’s wine staff will be on hand to assist and answer any questions.   There will be over 35 food vendors, mostly “local” such as: Belle Chevre, Stone Hollow, GMomma’s Cookies, Pickled Pink, Copper Pot Kitchen Olive Oils, Alabama Pond-raised Shrimp, Nabeel’s, Zeigler Meats, Boar’s Head, Hissho Sushi, Limeaux Seafood gumbo, Dirt Road Gourmet, Fox Valley, Millie Rays, Merry Cheese Crisps, T.Lish, Pure Alabama Honey, Dean’s Cakes and many more… It’s A Great Night To Purchase Wine!    

At the Event entrance, you will be given the wine catalog which lists all wine vendors, table numbers, and wines available to taste along with prices & special deals.   Order takers &  wine staff will be available inside the air conditioned concession area to assist you with placing your wine order. When your wine order arrives at the store, our wine staff will let you know that it’s available to pick up.   Raffle Prizes – Get your chance to win!  Drawings will be held throughout the night with many chances to win.  Raffle Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.  Enjoy the Fall breeze with a glass of wine on the Carousel Ride.  Spin as much as you want! Zoo staff will be parading some fun animals around the crowd for your entertainment. 

There will be parking shuttles to take you to and from your car and the event, before, during, and after.   This event is for persons 21 and older.  A valid form of I.D. must be shown.   Ticket Information:  Available beginning August 15th online at www.westernsupermarkets.com, the Emmet O’neal Library, and all Western Market locations; Highland Avenue, Rocky Ridge, and Mountain Brook.

Purchased at the door:  $75 each Group

Discount for 10 or more tickets:  $50 each
