Cahaba River Society

The Cahaba River Society (CRS) is one of Alabama’s largest watershed organizations, recognized nationally for river stewardship. We focus on education, collaboration and advocacy for sustainable development and drinking water supply and efficiency, educating current and future community leaders, improving water quality protections at the local, state and federal level, restoring habitat for freshwater life, promoting recreation, greenways and economic growth centered on tourism, and encouraging Care of Creation with interfaith partners.
