Housed in the historic Jayford Ware House, the Clay Public Library is one of the newest libraries in the Jefferson County Library Cooperative, opening in October of 2009. Funded primarily by the City of Clay, with support from the Jefferson County Library Cooperative, we currently hold approximately 9000 items, including bestseller fiction and non-fiction, children’s and teen books, books on CD, and a rapidly growing DVD collection that includes all the latest new releases. We have a computer room with four public computers, and we offer wireless Internet access. We offer programs and special events for both adults and children. Make plans to visit us soon. You might be surprised by what you find!
