Council of the Arts, Inc.

Council of the Arts is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supporting the arts, local artists, and arts education in the greater St. Clair county region. Regular monthly programs are held second Tuesdays in the evening, featuring artist demonstrations, presentations by arts-related organizations and speakers. Major annual projects include a juried county-wide high school art exhibit, summer art camp for kids, and a fall arts festival in Lakeside Park, Pell City, Alabama. In addition, the council gives administrative support to Artscape Gallery, a cooperative of local artists. Art classes and workshops are offered by the Council of the Arts at Artscape Gallery.
