Gulf South Conference

The Gulf South Conference is a charter NCAA Division II member which began competition in 1970 and moved its league headquarters to Birmingham in 1979. The league current membership includes Alabama-Huntsville, Christian Brothers, Delta State, North Alabama, Valdosta State, West Florida and West Georgia. Shorter University and Union University will be full members in 2014-15 and Lee University follows in 2015-16. The GSC has claimed 48 National Championships, including two in the Fall of 2012.
