Alabama Justice Ministries Network (AJMN) is a non-profit (IRS 501 (c) 3) faith based organization located in Birmingham, Alabama. AJMN was founded in July 2001 and has established itself primarily with the Alabama state prisons and metro Birmingham jails. We partner with over 80 local churches with over 400 volunteers including Prison Fellowship, Winner’s Circle, Volunteers of America, Inc., TASC, various transition homes, rehabilitation programs, prison and jail ministries and victim’s assistance programs throughout the state. We’re members of the Non-Profit Resource Center (NPRC) and the Coalition of Prison Evangelists (COPE). We also have won an award with FASTEN. (FASTEN actively identifies best practices in faith-based services). AJMN administers the Jefferson County Jail Ministry, the Jefferson County Community Partnership for Recovery and Reentry Network and the Robert E. Doyle: Mentoring Birmingham Program.
