MeetUp for Change

MeetUP for Change energizes and engages grass root volunteers to affect change by taking pride in our community and ownership of the issues impacting it. Classroommates: An effort to recruit 500 surrogate aides to provide weekly support of time and resources to 500 area classrooms. MeetUp for Change Random Acts of Volunteerism: An online forum to allow anyone in our community to identify projects to spruce up the metro area, while others will simultaneously sign up to participate on “meet up” teams to address these initiatives. Random Acts of Volunteerism will help residents look at Birmingham with a fresh and engaged eye. MeetUp for Change Mixers: Quarterly networking events to introduce select not-for-profit organizations to business and civic leaders interested in enhancing their corporate social responsibility efforts and board involvement.
