Mountain Brook Art Association

Founded in 1981, the Mountain Brook Art Association of Mountain Brook, Alabama, strives to stimulate art in the community, encourage individual and group development and sponsor an annual art show. Membership is open to all persons residing within a 25 mile radius of Mountain Brook City Hall. Also of note is that our annual spring show in Crestline Village is limited to two-dimensional painting and drawing.

The annual Spring Art Show is traditionally held in April on the athletic field at Crestline Elementary School. Original two-dimensional art on canvas, board, paper or flat wood are acceptable mediums for this show. Publication of the show guidelines and registration occurs in January. Members are required to attend at least one meeting during the 12 months prior to the show to be eligible to participate in the show.
