Nathifa Dance Company

Nathifa Dance Company & Outreach, Inc. was established in 1992. Our vision is to have a vibrant multi-cultural community rich in heritage; forming a positive self-image, self-pride, spiritual growth, and cultural awareness through dance as they both tell the story of Africans and African Americans people's journey of life.

Our mission & the Assignment-Nathifa Dance Company & Outreach, Inc. mission and our assignment is to educate, entertain and developing the gift of the arts focusing on increasing speed motor and coordination skills through African dance and drum rhythm. 

Agency Background-(Nah-thee-fa) Nathifa Dance Company was established 1992 by Artistic Director LaVondia Gail Bryant-Square a native of Birmingham, Al raised in Brooklyn New York.  She moved to back to Birmingham in 1986. While living here she discovered the lack of divert culture and cultural dance.
