A 501(c)3 whose mission is empowering children of abuse and neglect through the experience of fly fishing.

Since 2012, On River Time has offered children with difficult pasts a fly fishing journey to the Snake River in Idaho. ORT pays all expenses to give these children the experience of a lifetime: gear, travel, room and board, meals, instruction, etc. They stay at the Lodge at Pallisades Creek, which was named Fly Fishing Lodge of the year by Orvis in 2014. The lodge donates much of its instruction, cabin space and guides' time.

The children, whose ages range 9-16, learn a new skill, experience nature's grandeur and have valuable fellowship with friends and mentors with whom they can relate.

The trip has grown consistently with a board of directors that spans the contiguous 48, a new office and an executive director. Last year, ORT took a record 10 participants on the trip. There are ambitious plans in place to bring more children to this experience and to add events throughout the year.

With your help, we will give memories of a lifetime to kids who deserve them.
