The Arts and Humanities Council of Tuscaloosa County, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Established to promote the arts and culture in Tuscaloosa County, the organization also serves as an umbrella for its 40 plus member organizations and manages the historic Bama Theatre. A new facility, the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center, is slated to open in 2012, and will also be under the auspices of the Arts Council.
