Young Women's Empowerment Conference

The Young Women’s Empowerment Conference (YWEC)is a 501(c)3 organization based in Alabama. Since 2009, YWEC has hosted annual career-focused conferences for teen girls in Birmingham, AL. YWEC is committed to empowering and educating teen girls to take charge of their future. It connects students of diverse backgrounds and interests to women of varied professions to teach them the importance of higher education, networking, community service and, of course, following their dreams.
