Zivah Saphirah Middle Eastern Dance Troupe

Zivah Saphirah was formed in 1997 in Birmingham, Alabama through the combined efforts of several Middle Eastern dance students. These students wanted to have the opportunity to introduce this dance form to the Birmingham public and also further their knowledge of the dance with the help of a supportive group. The troupe has flourished since its creation and is now comprised of 11 dancers and musicians all ranging in age and dance experience.
