Our next exhibition features prints by Chloe Alexander from Atlanta Georgia.
“This series of self-portraits are an exploration of the reconciliation of the inner and outer self, and the manner in which these two opposing personas must occupy the same space. As a woman, this frequently entails “holding it together” in the face of ridicule, microaggressions, and the constant stress of being a caretaker. This body of work embraces the inner strength required to maintain this constant balancing act while acknowledging the toll that it takes on the psyche.”
