Join the Zoo on September 24 to celebrate the culture of Birmingham’s growing Hispanic and Latino community at La Celebración presented by Centro Legal – Abogados! Animals of Central and South America will be featured through bilingual keeper chats, animal encounters, and other activities throughout the Zoo. Guests are invited to come and enjoy special enrichments for the animals, booths from the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and the Birmingham Museum of Art, the Junior League of Birmingham Yummy Truck, music, a dance lesson and more! This event is in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, but also a welcoming event for all parts of the Birmingham community. Be sure to see Dora the Explorer from 10am-2pm at the Zoo! This rain or shine event is included in admission for Zoo guests and free to Zoo Members!
