This class is an inroductory, but challenging experience for adults who desire to learn the joy and pleasure of learning west African rhythms in a supportive, nonjedgemental atmosphere. Beginners are welcomed, but the class is tuaght to intermediate to advanced students who already understand the basic terminlogy and teachnique of djembe music. Beginners are fine as long as you are OK with a challenge. This music is NOT easy, but everyone is welcome to participate at their own level–this is the beauty of this music.
