This story of Tallulah Bankhead’s life is told through the eyes of her sister, Eugenia Bankhead Hoyt. Set at the time of Tallulah’s death in 1968, Eugenia begrudgingly recounts her years with the icon of theatre and Hollywood. As the story unfolds, the reporter Mrs. O’Shaunessy from The Daily Mountain Eagle, a gossip columnist akin to Hedda Hopper, probes the lives of William Bankhead’s daughters and of the turmoil within the family structure. This show is followed by a talkback with Tallulah's goddaughter Brook Ashley and daughter of Eugenia Rawls (who portrayed Alexandra, the daughter or Regina Hubbard Giddens portrayed by Miss Bankhead) and Donald Seawell, Bankhead's longtime confidante and attorney.
