Save your seat at our FREE Memorial Altar Box Class Saturday, 16th, 23rd, and 30th!
We can’t wait to get artsy with you. During class, our art teachers will instruct you on how to create your very own Día de los Muertos memorial altar box for a loved one you’d like to remember and honor.
We will provide the art supplies, the space, art teachers and SNACKS! All you need to do is bring a printed picture, preferably a copy, of your loved one. Each class will be held at a different location. Please check below to see where to meet us!
We’d like to thank the City of Birmingham for selecting us to receive the $10,000 Community Arts Grant in partnership with Create Birmingham, which supports our Memorial Altar Box Classes.
We’d also like to thank our community partners for helping us host these art classes! With their support, we are able to expand our art outreach to various locations across the city. We would love it if you could join us and experience this beautiful art-making endeavor.
