Join us for an evening of artistry and celebration at the Real Life Poets’ “A Night of Unity: Genius is Common” Fundraiser. This year, guest can expect to enjoy an array of festivities such as: a silent auction, showcases from Real Life Poets’ youth artists, and a special Genius is Common presentation from Bruce George, co-founder of Def Poetry Jam as seen on HBO and founder of the Genius is Common Movement, www.geniusiscommon.com.Performing will be Laura Secord, RLP youth poets, Derrick Mckenzie, Jr and more. It will be co-hosted by Dr. Jarralynne Agee and J-Love of 98.7fm Today’s KISS. All procceeds from this event will benefit Real Life Poets’ Youth Poetry Slam Team, International Poetry Exchange Project, School/ Community Outreach programs, and Health Eating Habits Initiative.
