YOU ARE INVITIED TO A FREE OPERA PERFORMANCE! –  Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4887 Valleydale Rd, Birmingham, AL 35242, in conjunction with the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Department of Music, will host a FREE special presentation of the opera Amahl and the Night Visitors by Gian-Carlo Minoti on Sunday, December 4, at 3:00pm at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.  Amahl and the Night Visitors is the the first opera ever composed for television and was written specifically for children.  The performance is 50 minutes long and sung entirely in English.
