Rock n’ Roll Students to Share Stage with the Dexateens at Firehouse CAC Benefit
The Firehouse Community Arts Center will host its End of the Year Bash at Saturn. The event, which celebrates the year and raises funds for the future, will be headlined by legendary rockers the Dexateens and will also feature performances by Firehouse students with K.R.U. and Matt Patton of the the Dexateens, Model Citizen, and Drive-By Truckers. For the Soul Review, Patton, an avid record collector and owner of Dial Back Studios, will select a setlist of classic soul songs for the students to perform.
“The opportunity for our students to share the stage with K.R.U., Matt Patton, and the Dexateens is huge,” stated Eric Wallace the founder and Executive Director of the Firehouse CAC. “All of these musicians have given so much to our city’s rich music scene, and connecting them with Birmingham’s musical future is going to be really special.
