Enroll Alabama is using this Lunch and Learn as an opportunity to educate the community on getting the most from the Affordable Care Act during the interim between Open Enrollments. Specifically, we will explain how a person without health insurance can qualify for a Special Enrollment Period, thus, enabling them to obtain insurance on the Health Insurance Marketplace at any time. We will also discuss how the Affordable Care Act affects consumers’ tax reporting along with how those that are currently enrolled in health insurance can get the most from their policies.
