Christopher Confessore returns to the Masterworks stage as dynamite pianist Terrence Wilson solos in a concerto that nimbly straddles jazz and classical worlds, composed by Gershwin just one year after Rhapsody in Blue. As the evening begins, we’ll luxuriate in the sensuous atmosphere created by Debussy in his Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun.
