Dance Across Birmingham is a community celebration that offers a day of FREE classes in styles ranging from hip-hop, bellydance, praise dance, African dance, Latin dance, folk dance, dance fitness, and more. No experience necessary! Our classes are designed for beginners of ALL AGES and include creative movement classes for your pre-schooler. These classes are held in the North exhibit halls at the BJCC 

The FREE Birmingham Dance Showcase begins at 12:30 in the BJCC Theatre, and lunch will be available from BJCC concessions. Browse the exhibits at the Alabama Dance Exchange in the BJCC Theatre lobby to find information on the many dance resources available in our area, such as dance companies, dance studios, artists, arts organizations and educators. Discover for yourself the talents and diversity of the Birmingham dance community!
