For rising 1st through 3rd graders, our first session from June 3rd to June 7th, 2024, focuses on “Costume Basics.” Delve into the art of costuming, where campers will discover that it’s more than just sewing stitches. Through hands-on activities and engaging lessons, participants will explore costume design fundamentals, learn basic sewing techniques, delve into the art of sketching, and master the creation of inspiration boards and styling. As a special treat, campers will draw inspiration from the captivating “Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume” exhibition, allowing them to connect their learning to real-world examples of costume design.
Throughout the week, campers will be guided by experienced instructors who are passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for art. Our goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where children can unleash their creativity and build confidence in their artistic abilities.
