Kids ages 8-17 can fly free as part of Young Eagles Day and the Shelby County Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Flights last about 20 minutes. Expect a visit from Santa Clause as well. Participants must fill out a registration form in advance indicating desired flight time and bring it to airport on the day of the event. Forms are available at the airport or email ShelbyEAA825@gmail.com. A parent or guardian must be present at the airport in order for children to ride.
